FUN RACE

 In this race, there were nine entries to take their turn at driving the Falcon powered  Slick 7 formula S cars, with stock car bodies.

Well again the heat by heat sheets were missing again and yours truly was turn marshalling the hole so I can’t give you any description of what happened in this race.

 All I can tell you is that local ace Jay Matthews was the winner of the Fun race by two laps over Greg Lewis and Downtown Don who were tied with Greg getting the nod for second while Downtown was third.

In fourth place was Rudy Garriga followed by local Ray Varville, Greg Lozaga, Mike Peakes, Floyd Todd and Rick Draper.

 

Fun Race Podium: Jay Mathews 1st, Greg Lewis 2nd and "Downtown" Don Purdy 3rd!
