Driver Classes:

1: Racer Class: This is the entry level class for drivers not yet rated by the USRA

2: Amateur class: Advanced Drivers, ranked as Amateurs by the USRA

3: Pro: The highest level drivers for USRA.

This classification may be different for Div I and Div. II racing, that is, a Div. I Pro may be a Div. I Amateur and vice-versa.

Car Classes:

The following are the classes of races for the 2004 championships

Div I

Gr-7/Gr-27

Pro and Amateurs run together but maintain separate point standings

Races are either 1 motor Open races or Gr-27 races as listed in the schedule.

1 motor Open means you start with Gr-7 motor, motor changes allowed, but once you change you must run Gr-27 motors for the rest of the race.


C-12

Pros, Amateurs and Racers run together, but under different points championships

Race is for USRA C-12 cars.


Box Stock

Pros, Amateurs and Racers run together, but under different points championships

Race is for USRA Box Stock cars.

We will have 2 series, A series with glue races on Even Months, and a totally spray/no glue series on Odd months.


Div II

EUROSPORT

Pro and Amateurs run together but maintain separate point standings

Races for USRA EUROSPORT Class


GT-12

Pros, Amateurs and Racers run together, but under different points championships

Race is for USRA GT-12 cars.


Can-AM - New lower weight limit of 100 grams

Amateurs and Racers run together, but under different points championships.

Pros can run in their own race, but no championship points are kept

Race is for Nor-Cal USRA Falcon Flexi cars with Vintage Can-Am bodies as produced by JK, Alpha and others as listed on approved by Nor-Cal USRA body list.

 

Race Day Format:

Race #1: Can Am  - Every Race

Race #2: Run Alternating Gr-12 and 1/24 Euro every other month

Race #3: Run  Box Stock every month

Race #4 Run Alternating C-12 and Glue Box on Glue races followed by Glue Gr-7/27 every other month


RACE DAY PROPOSED SCHEDULE

All races Round Robin,

Open Practice - Raceway Open to 11:00AM

Race #1 - 11:00AM to 12:30AM

Run race #2   (1:30 PM to 3:00PM)

Run Race #3 ( 3:00 PM to 5:00PM)

Run Race #4 (5:30 PM to 7:00PM)


Payouts:

Race payouts are as follows:

Purse is total, less $2 for USRA, and 1$ per entry for contingency prize

Pay is:

Winner takes all for under 3 entries:

for 3 or more entries we have:

50% for 1st , 30% for 2nd and 20% for 3rd

In all cases an extra place is paid by raffle amongst non-winning drivers! (that is what the $1.00 per entry is for)

Pay is within class positions, no overall purse, so 1st is 1st in class, not overall ect..
